Mail coinsurance amounts are a percentage of the total cost of the
prescription.
Increased access to mail-service pharmacies through the Internet has
made implementing mail coinsurance simpler and less confusing for
members.
Members can calculate the cost of a mail-service prescription before
ordering and paying for it.
Table 26 displays the range of mail coinsurance. Averages are shown
in Table 27.
