Drug Benefit Design Report

Since 1995, PBMI has been surveying employers nationwide to produce a comprehensive overview of U.S. trends in prescription drug benefits. The survey report provides comparative market data on plan design, cost sharing and utilization management. For the first time, the 2009 - 2010 report notes differences in plan design among fully-insured, self-insured, carve-out and carve-in drug benefit programs.

This unbiased, respected industry report is valued by professionals involved in designing and managing drug benefits. It's available in print and online. Supplemental online resources include detail-level tables on cost sharing for all employers, fully-insured employers and self-insured employers responding to the survey.
