Call for Speaker Proposals

16th Annual Drug Benefit Conference
February 16 - 18, 2011
Arizona Biltmore Resort, Phoenix
PBMI's Drug Benefit Conference offers industry experts an opportunity to present case studies that showcase solutions to drug benefit challenges. Proposals for presentations that provide insight on drug benefit trends also are welcome.
Submit presentation ideas with learning objectives, speaker bio, and a conference presentation developed recently by the speaker. The sample presentation does not have to be on the proposal topic.
Proposals will be accepted until August 13, 2010. They will be reviewed by PBMI and its Advisory Board. Final presentation selections will be made solely by PBMI. Speakers will be notified in the fall.
Guidelines
Focus topics on drug benefit challenges, such as:
  • Return on investment in value-based plans
  • Integrating pharmacy, medical and lab data for decision-making
  • Medicare Part D compliance
  • Specialty pharmacy plan designs and management strategies
  • Genetic testing and personalized medicine
  • Strategies to increase medication compliance, eliminate polypharmacy issues
  • Benefits of ePrescribing and other technology solutions
  • Implications of healthcare reform on drug benefit issues
Target your audience. PBMI conference attendees include human resource generalists who spend 25 percent or less of their time on the drug benefit, as well as benefits specialists and pharmacy directors who are focused exclusively on the drug benefit. PBMI offers sessions for each of these audiences.

Keep it educational. Proposals must be non-promotional and free of commercial bias. The conference will offer 12 continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits as well as continuing education credit for human resource professionals.
