About the Speakers
Jeanne Denz, Director of Global Benefits, General Mills, Inc. In this capacity Ms. Denz is responsible for the design, cost, communication and administration of all employee benefits programs. General Mills has various pension plans with assets of more than $5 billion, savings plans with assets of more than $2 billion, and health and welfare costs of over $200 million per year.
Matthew Gibbs, Pharm.D., Principal, Medco Health Solutions. Dr. Gibbs has been in the health care industry for 10 years. He is currently the Chief Clinical Officer for Medco's Employer Accounts Group servicing National Accounts and the Systemed Group. In his role he works with employers, coalitions, and consultants in their overall clinical strategy. Previously, Dr. Gibbs led the Pharmacy Consulting Practice at Hewitt Associates and developed strategies and implemented programs to help clients provide cost-effective health benefits. Additionally, Dr. Gibbs has extensive global healthcare experience from performing work in Europe, Mexico, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Nathan Schultz, Pharm.D., President and Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Schultz's history as a pharmacy clinician, health care services executive and entrepreneur spans over 25 years. He is currently president and chief operating officer of Medication Management Systems, Inc. -- a leading provider of medication therapy management services and technology solutions. Dr. Schultz is a recognized leader and innovator in managed care pharmacy and pharmaceutical benefit management, having served as chief services officer of National Medical Health Card Systems and over a decade in senior executive roles with Diversified Pharmaceutical Services and Express Scrips. Throughout his extensive PBM career, Dr. Schultz led and managed clinical and business functions including clinical program development, drug formulary management, pharmaceutical manufacturer purchasing and rebate contracting, pharmacy benefit operations, provider networks, account management and customer service.
