Our Team
Her work history includes positions of increasing responsibility at Baylor College of Medicine, ARA Living Centers, The HSM Group, Ltd. and PCS Health Systems. Dana has written articles and spoken on a variety of drug benefit issues at national meetings. She serves on URAC's Pharmacy Advisory Group and the Allviant, Inc. Advisory Board. Dana also is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Programs and the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network. She has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and business from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and a master of business administration degree from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix. In the health care arena, she has developed positioning plans and marketing materials to help medical centers, managed care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, health care foundations and industry associations strengthen relationships with existing customers and acquire new ones. She has also been instrumental in launching new services in both health care and education. A strategic communicator and excellent writer, Maggie has authored numerous research-based educational materials, newsletters, monographs, issue briefs, and industry reports to keep health care industry executives advised of issues, trends, and best practices. Linda DeChant is director of sales for the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute. She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, sales and client relations. She has spent the vast majority of her career in the pharmacy benefit management industry where she has long-standing business relationships in every industry segment. Before joining PBMI, Linda was a key member of the marketing team for CVS Caremark where she was responsible for managing the PBM’s presence in regional and national trade shows. She produced and staffed CVS Caremark exhibits, and served as the company’s liaison to industry trade associations. In addition, she organized and produced Caremark client events, including the annual client forums.
Linda joined Caremark in 1990 when the company was in its infancy as PCS. She has experienced the evolution of the industry over nearly two decades and has a keen understanding of the varied stakeholder roles and business needs.
Early in her career, Linda spent eight years in marketing and sales for Fairchild Aircraft in San Antonio, Texas. Her responsibilities included sales administration, marketing, managing trade shows and building relationships with clients and prospects. You can contact Linda at ldechant@pbmi.com.
As a senior account executive for Innovative Communications, Inc., a marketing communications agency, Jenny managed multiple health care industry accounts, including health care systems, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical firms, and a pharmacy benefit manager. She ascertained client needs, coordinated the team effort needed to fulfill client needs on time and on budget, and managed ongoing client communication. As a market analyst with The Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa in Arizona, Jenny 's responsibilities included researching and responding to inquiries from customers and potential customers, coordinating VIP visits and site tours, and ensuring a 5-Diamond level customer experience.
