Case Studies, Industry Experts Lead PBMI's Conference Agenda

The Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) will host its eighth annual Prescription Drug Utilization Management Conference on April 23-25, 2003 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Controlling the rate of growth in prescription drug expenditures continues to challenge benefit managers. With over-the-counter (OTC) changes and increasing economic pressures, 2003 is unfolding as a landmark year for drug plan managers. Attend the Prescription Drug Utilization Conference to learn how to identify opportunities to lead your organization's management team and members through these challenging times.

Case studies from ALCOA, Amerihealth Mercy Health Plan, General Motors, Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Tufts Health Plan, and the State of West Virginia will showcase real-world strategies that positively impact bottom-line results of drug plans. Industry experts will discuss the PBM business model, drug price trending, ethics, contracting strategies, and Wall Street's perspective on the PBM industry.

The venue for this year's event is the Radisson Resort Scottsdale. PBMI has secured a discounted room rate for conference attendees. In addition, PBMI is extending a $50 conference discount to all PBMI members. Register online at: www.pbmi.com.

Available sponsorships are limited. Contact PBMI at (480) 730-0814 before your competition does.
