PBMI recently updated our website information center with some timely information in the form of New Drug Profiles and links to other sources of PBM and drug-related information.
 

Drug Profiles
PBMI recently experimented with the development of profiles for newly released drugs. We have decided to discontinue this service and make drug profiles developed by other organizations available. These profiles can be accessed through links from PBMI's website to the authors' websites. Our goal is to provide links to reputable organizations with the resources to research and report this information.

Visit PBMI's website and access links to new drug profiles that were produced by Caremark. PBMI is in discussions with several PBMs to link their profiles to our website. Contact PBMI if your organization will allow links to your drug profiles or information such as this from PBMI's website.
 

Other Resources
PBMI also provides links to many valuable information sources such as online industry journals that provide industry news and discuss utilization management topics. Other sources are more general news sources. For example, Medscape is one resource that allows users to research topics. Some of these sources provide detailed discussions of specific drugs and diseases. Some of these websites require you to enroll to access the information. Currently, none of these websites charge a fee for this service.

Finally, PBMI provides links to several PBM sites. These sites provide information that we feel is of value to all viewers; not just customers of those PBMs. These sites are not marketing oriented but rather information oriented. PBMI is willing to list all PBM sites that meet this standard. Contact PBMI if you are a PBM and would like PBMI to provide links to your information pages.
