Call For Speakers

Is managing a prescription drug benefit plan one of your primary responsibilities? Have you implemented utilization management programs in an attempt to manage either drug benefit cost or quality? Would you like to share the results of these efforts?

PBMI is looking for plan sponsors and others to discuss their drug benefit management successes and failures at our next conference. Past attendees have indicated this type of discussion is invaluable in helping them decide what utilization management programs to implement.

PBMI is looking for a number of other speakers to talk about the wide variety of issues important to drug benefit plan sponsors. The 2001 conference is expected to have a number of breakout sessions, which means PBMI needs more speakers than in the past.

To help PBMI identify potential speakers, we have posted a Speaker Proposal form on our website. Interested speakers should complete this form and submit it to PBMI by fax or mail. We will work with our advisory board to select those topics and speakers of greatest interest to our audience.

Topics identified as being of interest to this year's attendees that were not included on the agenda include:

  • Alternative medicines
  • Biotechnology/genomics
  • Cost sharing
  • FDA drug approval process
  • HIPA (define) protecting privacy issues
  • Medicare prescription drug benefit
  • State and federal government legislative update
Please call PBMI if you would like more information.
