A Sampling of Sessions from Conference 2001

This issue of PBM News will focus on summarizing a handful of conference 2001 presentations. In order to keep our mailing and printing costs under control, we have selected from the most widely attended sessions. A thorough listing of session summaries.

A Three-Day Meeting Worth Attending

PBMI's April 2001 Prescription Drug Utilization and Management Conference, held in Scottsdale, Arizona delivered an exceptional educational program to a record 260 attendees. Attendees represented employers, unions and trusts, managed care organizations, consultants, PBMs, and other related organizations from across the United States. PBMI was pleased to host eight attendees visiting from other countries this year.

Conference evaluation ratings confirm that this annual conference focuses on the key issues facing individuals who are responsible for managing prescription drug benefit programs. Attendees agree that this conference is an event worth attending annually and recommending to others.

Next year's conference is scheduled for April 24-26, 2002. Once again, the Radisson Resort Scottsdale will serve as our event location. Because of space limitations we were forced to turn a number of interested individuals away this year. PBMI has reserved additional space with the Radisson, however, we will be limited to 300 attendees at the 2002 conference. Register early!
