Timothy Colligan, RPh, MS, is pharmacy director for SummaCare, a managed care organization based in Akron, OH. SummaCare was named one of "America’s Best Health Plans" by U.S. News & World Report/NCQA in November 2006 For the second year, U.S.News & World Report and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) joined together to rank hundreds of the nations health maintenance organizations and point-of-service plans. The plan provides health care to commercial, Medicare and Medicaid members in an 18-county service area in northeastern Ohio through a network of more than 6,000 providers and 30 hospitals.

Colligan began his career as a retail pharmacist. He had held positions of increasing responsibility in several areas of managed care pharmacy. Colligan also is a member of PBMI’s advisory board.

Patience White, MD
Chief Public Health Officer 
Arthritis Foundation

Patience White, M.D. is the first Chief Public Health Officer for the Arthritis Foundation . She guides the public health role of the Foundation to improve the lives of the 46 million Americans with arthritis. A board-certified rheumatologist, Dr. White also serves as a professor of medicine and of pediatrics for George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Care Sciences. Her clinical passion is pediatric rheumatology. She completed her medical training, residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
