Payoffs for Greater Plan Sponsor Involvement in Drug Benefit Management

Webcast held July 19, 2007. Now available on CD.

Insourcing one or more pharmacy benefit management functions can help plan sponsors to improve the performance of pharmacy benefit programs. Some large employers already have assumed responsibility for various aspects of benefit design, disease management, and member communication. Instead of contracting for comprehensive pharmacy services, they buy selected services from best-in-class providers. More employers are moving in this direction.

Discover how employers of different sizes can gain more control over drug benefit cost and quality by assuming more responsibility for managing the benefit.

Hear from two employers who have successfully insourced multiple drug benefit management functions.
