Susan Trieu, PharmD, Director Enterprise Specialty Clinical Solutions

Susan Trieu is currently the Director of Enterprise Specialty Clinical Solutions for MedImpact and is responsible for clinical aspects of the MedImpact Specialty Programs. Susan previously led surveillance and strategy for pipeline compounds for the Emerging Therapeutics Strategy Team at MedImpact. In this role she tracked pipeline agents in development, developed budget impact models for high-interest pipeline agents and new drugs, and provided clinical strategy for pipeline agents and recently approved drugs.
Susan Trieu currently holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of North Texas and previously volunteered as adjunct faculty at the University of California, San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Susan received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She went on to complete the Rutgers Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship with Novartis Pharmaceuticals with a focus on regulatory affairs and marketing. Prior to joining MedImpact she spent 10 years working for various large pharmaceutical companies in Medical Affairs.
Christine Anderson, Vice President Specialty Products
Christine Anderson joined EnvisionRxOptions in 2011 and currently provides strategic oversight and leadership to the SpecialtyCare program and all client-facing functions as they relate to the management of specialty medication trend. She brings 18 years of experience in multiple areas of the pharmacy industry, including working with patients in a retail setting. She has focused on the specialty patient care experience through innovative clinical programs and the ability to report on outcomes data to payers, physicians, and manufacturers. Christine served in several compliance and management roles at EnvisionRxOptions’ sister company, EnvisionPharmacies, and supported the pharmacy through two URAC accreditations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.
Marly Arbuckle, RPh, CSP, Director Specialty Products and Affairs
Marly Arbuckle brings nearly 20 years of experience in the pharmacy industry to her role at MedTrakRx. As one of the pharmacists in the Clinical Care Center, Marly specializes in the development, implementation, and administration of new clinical programs, services, and communications as it pertains to specialty drugs. She serves as a key liaison and educator to specialty partners and has devoted much of her time collaborating with contracted specialty pharmacies for assessing medication procurement, adherence, and outcomes measurement. Marly has also been instrumental in developing the Best-In-Class (BIC) SpecialtyRx program, providing clinical and critical evaluation of the BIC award process, and offering other sales and marketing support. Before joining MedTrakRx, Marly worked at CVS/CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy, where she focused on patients’ specialty medication needs in areas such as HIV, transplant, rheumatoid arthritis, and oncology.
Kelly Britt, RPh, Vice President Sales and Client Services
Kelly Britt is a pharmacy leader with an extensive background in specialty pharmacy, infusion services, general pharmacy services, and pharmacy benefit management. In her current role, she focuses on the growth of EnvisionPharmacies through direct payer sales, physician sales, account management, and the support of PBM clients. Prior to joining EnvisionPharmacies, Kelly was vice president of operations for Amerita Specialty Infusion, a subsidiary of Pharmerica, where she launched their specialty pharmacy program and was responsible for overall performance and profitability of the Eastern U.S. region. Kelly has held senior level roles at several other pharmacy companies. She is a registered pharmacist, having attended the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
Gregory O. Callahan, MBA, Consultant
Greg has held high profile account management positions within the PBM industry spanning more than 12 years with multiple lines of business including Managed Healthcare (MAPD), Coalition/GPO, Taft-Hartley, Commercial, Third Party Administrators, 340B, and fully insured Managed Care Organizations. His consulting specialty is the prescription drug benefit market with experience in prescription benefit operations, PBM contracting, and program development.
Greg's primary responsibilities include PBM contracting, PBM auditing, PBM RFPs, client cost analysis, pharmacy benefit vendor selection, healthcare reform, benefit planning, benefit operations management, vendor oversight, and benefit design.
Brian N. Anderson, MBA, Principal
Brian is a principal with the San Diego office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2008, and has been a pharmacy benefits consultant since 2001.
Brian has provided pharmacy benefit consulting services to a wide range of clients, including Medicare plans, Medicaid MCOs, VA, health plans, state systems, union funds, coalitions, high-risk pools, PBMs, GPOs, and large employers. His consulting specialty is the prescription drug benefit market. His experience includes understanding prescription benefit operations, pharmacy benefit manager contracting, cost management, program development, and yearly benefit planning. He has demonstrated success in prescription benefit management, strategic planning, and problem solving, and has a successful track record of overall cost management, with an emphasis on practical and focused solutions.
Rae McMahan, MBA, Vice President & General Manager Enterprise Specialty
As Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Specialty for Prime Therapeutics LLC (Prime), Rae McMahan has direct responsibility for enterprise specialty strategy, including specialty product, clinical program development, specialty pharmacy and specialty client relationships for overall medical and pharmacy management.
In her tenure at Prime, McMahan helped launch Prime Therapeutics Specialty Pharmacy (now AllianceRx Walgreens Prime), and established Prime’s specialty client engagement team. Among the many medical specialty products McMahan developed is Prime’s Medical Drug Review, a program to manage utilization of specialty drugs that are covered under the medical benefit. In prior roles with the company, McMahan led the Prime specialty manufacturer program team, clinical program development, and reporting and analytics.
McMahan has more than 15 years of experience in health care, including a previous tenure with Aetna Pharmacy where she was responsible for clinical program and utilization management development, formulary strategy, specialty analytics and specialty drug manufacturer contracting.
She also worked at Health Net in accounting compliance, and at Orlando Health in administration management.
Chris Creamer, Senior Director, Specialty Pharmacy Operations
Chris Creamer is the senior director of specialty pharmacy operations for Walgreen Co., the nationwide drugstore chain headquartered in Deerfield, IL. He is responsible for leading strategic operations for more than 300 health system and community specialty pharmacies as well as specialty strategy at about 9500 retail pharmacies. Chris joined Walgreens in 1999 as a pharmacy graduate intern. During his tenure, he has held various ascending leadership positions, including pharmacy manager and pharmacy supervisor in Indiana and Illinois. He was promoted to pharmacy director for the Indiana and Kentucky market in 2012 and the healthcare director for the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia region in 2015. He was named to his current position in 2016. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University.
Patty Taddei-Allen, PharmD, MBA, Director, Outcomes Research
Patty Taddei-Allen received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and her Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida. She holds both Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) and Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) credentials. She is the Director of Outcomes Research and runs the Managed Care Residency at WellDyneRx and lectures as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida – College of Pharmacy. She also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP) and is a peer-reviewer for JMCP. She is also a voting member of the Pharmacy Health Information Technology (HIT) Collaborative Value Set Committee.
Nick Page, PharmD, Chief Pharmacy Officer
Nick joined WellDyneRx in 2012 as the Vice President of Clinical Services. He transitioned to the role of Vice President of Specialty Pharmacy in 2014, and then again to his current role of Chief Pharmacy Officer in 2018 . Prior to joining WellDyneRx, he held executive level positions at MedImpact, PMSI (an Amerisource Bergen company), PBM Plus (an Omnicare company) and OhioHealth. Nick has extensive experience in both pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy management with a proven track record of strategic planning, business unit development, innovative program and product development. Nick holds a B.S. Pharmacy and a PharmD from The Ohio State University. He also completed a post-doctoral ambulatory care residency at The Ohio State University.
Christine Sawicki, RPh, MBA, LSSMB, Senior Director, Specialty Product Development
Christine’s passion is disrupting healthcare to improve experience and health outcomes for patients with rare conditions for CVS Health’s Specialty division. Her team identifies and introduces solutions that improve patient experience, enhance clinical care, and provide cost effective solutions to deliver the highest level of clinical care.
Current focus is in the area of adherence, oncology, readmission prevention, clinical secure messaging, wearable devices & remote monitoring.
With more than 27 years’ experience with CVS Health, Christine also led pharmacy design and technology, water system innovation, health plan clinical pharmacy programs, and was a practicing pharmacist in a variety of healthcare settings. Christine has also received several awards for CVS Health innovations and business solutions. In 2018, Christine was recognized as a woman of influence in the Gartner report.
Christine holds a Pharmacy Degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University, Bachelors in Chemistry from Assumption College where she also serves as faculty and advisory board member for Graduate Business and Health Advocacy programs, MBA from Anna Maria College, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Villanova University, and Pharmacoeconomic Certification from University of South Carolina.
Pramod John, PhD, CEO
Pramod is CEO of VIVIO Health, a specialty drug management company providing better outcomes at lower costs. Prior to VIVIO Health, Pramod was founder of Oration PBC, which was changing the way consumers purchase prescription medications by capturing the prescription in the physician’s office and providing all the pricing options and routing automatically. Pramod was also VP of Strategy and Innovation at McKesson where he helped develop solutions that leveraged advanced technologies and business process improvements to optimize healthcare delivery systems, infrastructure and supply chains. Earlier, he was founder and CEO of PacketMotion, a venture-funded startup in network space which was acquired by VMWare. In addition, he also founded netExaminer.com, a managed-vulnerability assessment company acquired by SonicWALL (acquired by Dell).
Pramod earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He serves on the Boards of Mission Aviation Fellowship, a global relief organization and 3 Crosses Church in Castro Valley, CA. He also is an advisor to Folia Water and mentor at StartX.
